I’m a language scientist in the fourth year of my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Maryland, College Park. My research focuses on how our brains process language, and I use a variety of neurophysiological and behavioural methods in my work on sentence processing in adults and children. I’m also interested in finding ways to bring research results from language science to audiences outside of academia, such as policy-makers and the general public.
I’m a Flagship Fellow here at Maryland, and also held a Fulbright Award in 2013-2014. Before starting my PhD, I completed a BA in English and Modern Languages (French) and an MPhil in Linguistics, both at the University of Oxford.
